Calibro 35 live @ Rotondes on Saturday: 2008, their first album

As announced, ten years after their very first concert, on Saturday we'll take back to Luxembourg Italian super cult combo CALIBRO 35!!
Today we have started a countdown to the show: daily posts will take you through the (first) ten years of history of this awesome band.

This morning we have gone back to when it all started with that first gig we organised even before their first record, which was released in October 2008 by Cinedelic records. The album, self titled, mainly features music by Morricone, Trovajoli, Micalizzi and Bacalov but also contains their first two original songs, Notte in Bovisa and La polizia s'incazza, that was also their first video, written and directed by Pietro Scarso.
Enthusiastic reviews on Italian and international press (four to five stars on pretty much all reviews) led the band to start touring Italy and continental Europe and live shows were even more successful than the album itself with the band winning “Best Tour” at Italian Independent Awards PIMI/MEI 2009.

We are happy to take them back to Luxembourg, this Saturday: the line-up of the night includes one of the most interesting new acts of Luxembourg, afro post-punk quartet No Metal in this Battle, and two support DJsKustonBeater & LeGenco.
Come enjoy this great night of music, at Rotondes, on Saturday, May 19thhere the FB eventpre-sales are online here!!
